I found a handy list of iOS release dates, including beta versions, on Wikipedia. So I made a Numbers spreadsheet to show the longevity of each version. Here ‘tis. Notes: I didn’t include the iPad-only versions, as it would mess up my calculations of how long each version was in Final. For some reason, the iPhone OS 2.0 beta 1 release date is not listed, so I entered the same date as beta 2.
